Event picks for Privacy Week Berlin 2018

Privacy Week Berlin (www, Twitter, Mastodon) is taking place next week for the first time, with a range of interesting events (mostly in German, it appears).

Here are my picks, if only my schedules allow:

Thu 27.9. 19:00 - Film screening “Democracy - Im Rausch der Daten”, incl. podium discussion with the film director and privacy experts (I’ve recommended this film before)
Fri 28.9. 16:30 - FIfFKon18 conference “Brave New World”: some promising talks on privacy and GDPR on the program
Sat 29.9. 10:30 - Discussion and project presentations “Datenschutzfreundliche Smartphone-Anwendungen ohne Kompromisse?” (part of FIfFKon18 conference workshops)

All aforementioned events are free, but require sign-up. And these are, indeed, all in German language (I intend to post summaries here, if I find the time).

Privacy Week Berlin is a week-long series of events by various organizers.
